Did you know that the Noble County Convention and Visitors Bureau offers limited Tourism Grants of up to, $1,000? That’s right; we do! Visit Noble County’s primary responsibility is to increase the number of travelers to the region and local commerce. We accomplish this by publishing articles, blogs, videos, guides, and social media posts to help travelers discover and engage with our local tourism partners. To help accomplish this goal, we offer limited tourism grants of up to $1,000.00 per entity, per year, to Noble County tourism partners.
But, how does it work?
This funding opportunity is simple. Businesses, including for profits and non-profits, individuals, festival committees, event centers, and others associated with efforts to increase tourism in Noble County, can apply annually for a grant of up to $1,000.
When applying, applicants must explain how their proposal supports their event or organization’s mission and vision statement. They must outline how it directly supports the overall mission of the Noble County Convention and Visitor’s Bureau as well. Applications must be submitted using the form provided below in order to be considered. If selected, the applicant must report on the overall outcome of the funding provided upon completion of their proposed endeavor.
How we review grant applications
- The Program Purpose Committee of the Noble County Convention and Visitors Bureau will receive and review all grant applications submitted. The group meets to review applications on an as-needed basis.
- Committee members will utilize an established rubric to fairly score and evaluate applications.
- The Committee will make a recommendation to the Board of Directors; the Board will decide if the proposal is funded.
- When granted, funds will be provided at the completion of their endeavor.
