Summertime is in full swing which means many exciting and fun festivals are coming to Noble County. If you’re needing some family fun this summer, check out the events below!

Chain O’ Lakes Festival

The Chain O’ Lakes festival is an annual celebration which happens around the Courthouse Square in Albion each year. To kick off Chain O’ Lakes’ summer season they offer family-friendly games, music, and food for the entire community.

Conservation Leadership School

Merry Lea Environmental Learning Center in Albion is hosting a week-long camp for teens going into junior or senior year of high school. There will be a variety of workshops, classes, and hands-on learning opportunities for teens. Admission for this camp is $25 which covers the cost of meals and lodging.

Junior Indiana Master Naturalists Program

Gene Stratton-Porter is hosting a week-long opportunity for children to learn about the nature around them. They will learn about land trusts, soil and water conservation districts, state and local parks, and other natural resource and conservation agencies in Indiana. Students who complete the program will receive a naturalist certificate. Ages 9-12 are welcome.

Avilla Freedom Festival

This 3-day festival is home to carnival rides, street food, and music for the whole family. Thursday, the festival will be hosting the first annual AFF’s Got Talent show which welcomes all family-friendly talent.

Noble County Community Fair

The Noble County Fair is a staple for the entire community. Welcoming carnival rides, fair food, and a variety of animals the fair is a great place for anyone seeking fun. Monday night there will be a rodeo, Thursday night a concert, and Saturday night the infamous demolition derby. Stop by the fairgrounds in Kendallville to enjoy the fun!

Monarch Mania

Stop by Chain O’ Lakes State Park to learn about beautiful butterflies in the Nature Center.

Tri-State Bluegrass Festival

The Bluegrass Association will be hosting its annual Labor Day celebration. Bluegrass musicians and fan are welcome to stop by and enjoy the rich culture during this event. Thursday night there will be a fish and tenderloin fry with free music.
