Typically, the first weekend of October would be reserved for the infamous Kendallville Apple Festival. However, with COVID and crowd restrictions, 2020 Apple Festival has been canceled. Nonetheless, there will still be plenty of things to do this weekend to kick of your season of fall fun!

Fall Crawl 2020

Enjoy many of your favorite traditional Apple Festival stops in a smaller venue. Held on Ohio St. in Kendallville, the Fall Crawl will require timed tickets to be purchased and presented at the gate for entry during your assigned hour. This event is not intended to replace Apple Festival in the future but to provide people with the opportunity to support local during this season. Tickets can be purchased here.

Vintage Market

Enjoy this downtown Kendallville tradition from 9am-6pm. This market will have craft and food vendors as well as a kid’s corner presented by the Kendallville Public Library. Learn more here.

Rotary’s Apple Buffalo Wings

You won’t want to miss out on these! The Kendallville Rotary Club’s apple buffalo wings are a mouthwatering tradition that is a need, not a want! Wing will be available beginning at 9am until they are sold out. Visit them on the southwest corner of US6 and SR3N.

Kendallville Farmer’s Market

Produce, pumpkins, crafts, and more! Located in the Riley St. parking lot at the Community Learning Center, this market hosts over 30 vendors from 8am-11am.

Augusta Hills Farmer’s Market

Located in Albion, Augusta Hills Learning, Recreation, and Community Center hosts a farmer’s market from 8am-11am with local vendors and a variety of items available. You can learn more about this market here.

Pettit Park Farmer’s Market

Visit Pettit Park in Ligonier and pick up fresh, homegrown produce from a number of local vendors. Visit from 8am-2pm. Learn more here.

Fashion Farm Inc.

Enjoy the opening weekend of the famous Pumpkin Fantasyland! Mother Goose is on the loose, can you find her and your other favorite nursery rhyme characters? While you’re visiting enjoy hay rides, pumpkin donuts, pumpkin ice cream, and purchase pumpkins and mums near the greenhouse. Saturday, Fashion Farm will be open from 8am-7pm. Learn more here.

Robert’s Farm

Enjoy a weekend on the farm with barrel rides, corn mazes, inflatables, and family-friendly activities galore! Ride through their new festival of fall lights and enjoy a family-friendly display of Halloween decorations. Enjoy the farm from 12pm-10pm. Learn more here.

Cranbere Hallow Market

Crafts, antiques, and refurbished home decor are all available at the old ice house in Kendallville. Located on 529 Richmond St., this market will be open Saturday from 8am-5pm. Learn more here.

That was a mouthful! As you can see, even though we may not be enjoying the traditional Apple Festival this year, there are still plenty of ways to kick of fall in Noble County!
