Oh boy have we been busy! Although it’s wintertime in Indiana, Noble County has not gone without activity. We’ve seen developments of new tour locations and expansions of existing ones. Let’s take a walk through Noble County to see all these new endeavors.
The Alley, located next to The Strand Theatre in Kendallville is now home to colorful murals, outdoor seating, and a fun, inviting atmosphere. This project developed by the Mayor’s Youth Advisory Council brings life to downtown Kendallville for people of all ages to enjoy. If you’re stopping by to snap a picture at one of the new murals, be sure to tag us in it using #VisitNoble.
Fairy, Gnome, and Troll Doors
There’s a good chance you’ve seen the fairies, gnomes, and troll trotting around Kendallville. These new residents have added fun, educational opportunities to local businesses. Visit these doors, scan the QR codes with your smartphone and learn about each creature, how they ended up here, and what the heck they’re doing!
In recent months, these friends have moved further north into Rome City! Learn about our new Noble County residents by visiting their doors. Visit https://www.aokendallville.com/ to learn more.
Noble County Historical Markers
Although these historical markers are some of the oldest destinations in Noble County, we have a new way to find and visit each location! Through the work of Noble County GIS, we were able to map out each historical marker in the county and paired it with a chronological timeline. Learn more here.
