Chain O’Lakes State Park

What’s there: The park is a small boater’s paradise. Eight connecting lakes are the center of your adventures. Paddle through the chain of lakes, hike the trails, swim at the beach, visit the Stanley Schoolhouse or attend a nature program at the nature center.

Bixler Lake Park

Tent or group camping, more than 100 campsites with electrical and water service, RV hookups, nature preserve, public lake access, ball diamonds, beaches, sand volleyball courts, fishing and playground. No alcohol is permitted. Summer weekends and holidays; $2 per car without a city resident pass. Additional charges for camping facilities.
