The Kendallville
Area Chamber of Commerce, with the assistance of volunteer
docents, is offering tours of historic downtown Kendallville.
Groups of 10 or more may pre-arrange for a guided tour, while
individuals may pick up self-guided tour brochures from the
Chamber of Commerce at 122 S. Main Street, or from the Noble
County Log Cabin Visitors Bureau on U.S. 6 just west of
Kendallville.
The guided tour includes an
approximately 30 minute walking tour of the National Register of
Historic Places downtown district, which was built from the
mid-19th century to the early 20th century. A brief history
of the community and the significant buildings in the downtown
area will be included. Tours will start at the Chamber of Commerce
at 122 S. Main Street.
Group tours must be pre-arranged and are scheduled by
