OUTDOOR FUN PHOTOS WANTED!

Whether you’re paddling a canoe on the Elkhart River, tubing on a lake or quietly exploring a shoreline, Noble County lakes and tributaries provide endless opportunities for summer fun! Family picnics, community parks, museums and attractions are other opportunities for great photos, and the Noble County Visitors Bureau invites you to submit your best shots for possible use in advertising Noble County. The 2009-2010 “Lakes, Waterways, and Outdoor Recreation Guide won’t be printed until next spring, but now a great time to capture and forward your photos showing fun on our lakes and waterways to the Visitors Bureau. This year’s edition of the Lake Guide, which came out on Memorial Day Weekend, included more photos from the public than any other brochure produced so far by the Visitors Bureau.

Photos must be taken in Noble County, but you need not be a Noble County resident to submit photos. Topics should be appropriate for tourism advertising, and show nature, waterways, visiting attractions, and people enjoying all that Noble County has to offer! If your photo is included in the next issue of the Lake Guide, your name will be listed as a “Contributing Photographer”. All photos submitted are done so with the implied permission to be used by the Noble County CVB for advertising, and may be used in future advertising. Send your 300 dpi or higher photo(s) to info@VisitNobleCounty.com . Include a brief description of the photo, name of the photographer, and where it was taken. Photos including children at play are very much appreciated, however we must have parental permission to use any identifiable images, including name, address, and phone number of the parents.

If you have any questions or have photos to submit, but can’t send them via email, please contact the Noble County Visitors Bureau at 877-202-5761. If you’d like to receive a free copy of the 2008-2009 “Lakes, Waterways and Outdoor Recreation Guide to Noble County”, you can request one by emailing info@VisitNobleCounty.com or by calling the above number. Lake Guides can also be downloaded free of charge <HERE>. You can view or download the full brochure, or just the pages you are interested in.

The photo chosen for the cover of the 2008 Lake Guide was taken by the Filler family and epitomizes their son enjoying Noble County lakes!
