Ligonier, Ind.—In response to the ongoing coronavirus pandemic, Annie Oakley Perfumery in Ligonier announces that it has expanded its product line to include high-quality hand sanitizers. The product expansion was a natural progression for the company, according to Annie Oakley CEO Renee Gabet, as the firm already was using an 80-percent, perfumer’s grade of Midwest grain alcohol to manufacture its natural perfumes.

With the high-grade perfumer’s alcohol as a base, “We created a new ‘gold-standard’ hand sanitizer, adding the finest quality of moisturizers into the formula to keep the hands soft,” Gabet said, noting that the product is available in a variety of sizes for travel, work, and family. Annie Oakley’s hand-sanitizing products are produced in accordance with hand sanitizer formula specifications of both the World Health Organization and the U.S. Federal Drug Administration, according to Gabet, with “evidence-based, intrinsic advantages of fast-acting and broad-spectrum microbicidal activity.”

Annie Oakley’s hand sanitizer is a topical, fast-acting antiseptic solution that is an unscented, liquid hand-rub formula. The solution is available in spray bottles as well as in refillable pour bottles. Wholesale quantities for retailers are available in a variety of consumer packages, and bulk ordering is available for factories, healthcare facilities and businesses. Annie Oakley currently is donating some of its hand-sanitizing products for use by first responders in the firm’s local community.

Consumers and first responders can purchase the locally-produced hand sanitizer from the Annie Oakley Perfumery in Ligonier and add their own essential oil scent at the Annie Oakley Mixing Bar. The Studio Gift Shop is open Monday through Friday from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Curbside pickup is available for orders made by calling 260-894-7219. On-line orders may be placed by visiting AnnieOakley.com and using the free shipping code of USA.

Annie Oakley Perfumery is celebrating 40 years as a family-owned, community-grown business. The natural perfumery was started in 1980 out of the family home of founder Renee Gabet and later moved to a factory located at 300 Johnson Street in Ligonier. Gabet is a long-time client of the Northeast Indiana Small Business Development Center. For more information, visit www.AnnieOakley.com or call 260-894-7219.
