Stone's
Tavern was built in 1830's by Richard Stone, and was a stop-over for weary
travelers. This site was a welcome respite
to stage coach passengers traveling the Goshen - Fort Wayne road. Several
buildings contain American artifacts. The buildings were used as an inn, post office, jury room, and dance hall.
This is the oldest building in Noble County.
