The Luckey Hospital Museum in Wolf Lake and First Church of God in Kendallville offer two Christmas in the Country events this weekend.
On Saturday, the museum will offer tours from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. in its 1930 hospital building, at U.S. 33 and Indiana 109 in Wolf Lake. This is the last chance in 2014 to see restored patient, surgery, delivery and pharmacy rooms and collections of nurse’s uniforms and obsolete medical equipment in the building, on the National Register of Historic Places. Admission is $5 for adults and $3 for children younger than 12.
On Sunday, the First Church of God, 111 S. Oak St., will celebrate with a Hanging of the Greens service at 6 p.m. Decorations are placed throughout the sanctuary with a focus on the meaning of these traditional decorations and hymns. Call the church at 260-347-0469 or email email@example.com for more information.
